RDS: Dublin Society Publications

The Dublin Society made particular efforts to disseminate new ideas in agriculture and manufacturing to the public through publications. At a meeeting on the 16th September 1731 the Society agreed to name Aaron Rhames as the Dublin Society's printer. This pamplet "Instructions on Managing Bees" was written by Dr William Stephens (c.1684-1760) a founding member of the Society. It is one of the earliest examples of Rhames' work for the Society.
